The Titantic

Today, while we were at Barnes and Nobles, Trace found a book on The Titantic. He read through chapter 3 in the store and asked if I would buy it for him so he could finish it. It was cheap so I said YES. Before we met his dad for lunch he had finished the book. During lunch Chuck and his 2 co-workers asked Trace to give a book report on The Titantic and this is what he had to say, "Well, it's first trip was actually it's last!" Well, that about sums it up, doesn't it?

Oh, another funny! While we were at lunch today this elderly woman stopped Chuck and asked, "Aren't you Chuck Norris?" I'm still laughing about that one.

We are on day 3 with Turner's potty training. No wet pants yesterday afternoon through today. YEAH!!!! Will keep you posted on our progress (I know you are so interested).

Best Mother's Day Gift Ever

Yeah for Chuck! He gave me the best gift for Mother's Day this year.......he sent me to be fitted for a bra! Girls, are you tired of tugging and pinching ....overall, the thing just not fitting? Well, for the first time in my life....I own a comfortable bra. It's life changing.....and wonderful. I encourage everyone to visit Pam at Dillards and get fitted. Thank you Chuck for sending me....I would have NEVER done that on my own.

Last T ball game for Trace

Last night was Trace's last t ball game. It makes me sad....he's so cute...and growing up. Oma and Opa were there....Maz, too.....Allyson and I enjoyed our boys playing on the same team this year. That was a treat!

Catching Up

It's been awhile since my last post. I find it hard to find the time to sit and make a complete thought. Even now my 9 year old is sitting here talking to me. Our baby, Turner, will be three tomorrow. We had his party yesterday at Chuck E Cheese. Thankfully that place was NOT crowded and we had fun. I don't do those places when they are crowded. Not fun, at all. My friend, Jana, made a Mater cake and it was a hit. Too Cute. That little guy danced, played and enjoyed the day. He makes it a point to enjoy every moment. What a blessing he has been to our lives. He's so funny and keeps us laughing. I love having little people in our home.

We also went to the Birmingham Zoo last week. I had never been there before, but have decided I like it better than some of the bigger zoo's we have been to. Chuck and Tolar got to go sit in the Red Velvet Lounge with Rick and Bubba on Wednesday morning. So we had a nice little visit to Birmingham.

Thursday night some family from Tuscaloosa came in to stay with us Memorial Day weekend. Tom and Colette are some of our most favorite people. We love having them here. On Saturday we went to Destin for the day to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. Tom and Colette got on the beach a little, Chuck and I just shopped...and we all ate a bunch. It was just a great day....with the kids farmed out.

Oh, finally, I have a mp3 player.....to help me when I run. We are really making progress with this running thing. I am starting to enjoy it...but much prefer the treadmill to outside! But hey...I am sticking with it. It feels good.

Until later:)
